Stunning cobalt blue Cornish sea glass ring

Each piece of sea glass has its own story — and this one is a piece of history.

This beautiful ring features a piece of Cornish cobalt blue sea glass, hand-collected from the shores of St Ives in Cornwall, set in a dainty round sterling silver band. This rare, deep blue glass — sometimes called Bristol Blue — was once used for apothecary bottles to protect their contents from light, as well as for decanters and tableware. Its age and origin are unknown, but the ocean has been shaping it for decades, perhaps longer. We’d love to know its story.
